一 |     (ECNS) -- The “Made-in-Russia” festive fair, hosted by the Russian Export Center (REC), opened in Tianjin on Saturday, marking the event’s first launch in the city.    The five-day fair features nearly 60 booths operated by Russian manufacturers, displaying food, agricultural produce, daily consumer goods, jewelry and other categories. Live performances featured excerpts from Swan Lake and The Nutcracker by the Moscow Classical Ballet Theatre, alongside a Russian folk instrumental duo and pop vocalists in a joint appearance.    Veronika Nikishina, general director of the REC, explained that a dacha (дача in Russian), a countryside summer villa in Russia, embodies a lifestyle away from urban hustle for Russian people.    Over the past two years, more than 500 Russian firms have taken part in the events, holding around 2,000 business meetings. Total value of signed export contracts exceeded 15 billion rubles (about $178.56 million). Exhibited goods have expanded from food to daily consumer goods and folk handicrafts, according to Tatyana An, vice president of the REC.    Prior to this event, the Russian Export Center has held seven similar promotional activities across China. The center is implementing the overseas promotion program for the national “Made-in-Russia” brand, which was approved by the Russian government in February 2025.    (By Xu Wenda, Zhang Dongfang)                         。
